Who We Are
Luzia is a coming together of friends, bound by a single purpose: to celebrate everything that makes Nosara so special — its wild coast, its slow golden light, and the easy way strangers become family here.
Set on over one hundred acres of protected jungle reserve, Luzia was designed to all but disappear into its surroundings — letting the forest, the surf, and the quiet do the talking. Nothing rushed, nothing overdone. Only room to breathe.
Our namesake, Luzia, was my great-grandmother — a woman who would welcome any and everyone to her table. Her presence and her love were felt by all who passed through her door, and that warmth has become the north star for everything we do.
On site you'll find fourteen rooms, Franco Café, and Nanku Surf Club — and, woven through all of it, a devotion to wellness and to community. Come hungry, come tired, come curious. Leave a little more yourself.
